“If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door”
Anne Luijpen graduated as a veterinarian and works as trainer at St. Anna Advies.
At the beginning of 2017 I graduated as a veterinarian at the University of Utrecht, after which I worked at a veterinary clinic in West-Brabant. From August 2018 I work at St. Anna Advies.
The veterinary sector is a unique and very challenging industry which I have a lot of affinity with. In addition to the medical aspect, I have always been very interested in the importance of communicative skills within this profession.
I was born and raised in Breda and I still live there now. I live together with my partner, daughter, dog (Harvey) and two cats (Beast and Django). In my spare time I like to play tennis or padel (a combination of tennis and squash) and I like to train our dog.

Ivon Derksen is coordinator of the Call Coaching Program at St. Anna Advies and also gives the Call Coaching Program Feedback training and Coaching on the Spot training.
In 2006 I graduated as a veterinary assistant / biotechnician and subsequently worked at a veterinary clinic for 11 years. From January 2018 I have been working at St. Anna Advies. My experience and knowledge that I have gained at the veterinary clinic comes in handy in my daily work.
I want to see a lot of the world, The Northern Lights, New Zealand and Rome are real bucketlist items for me. I like to play tennis in my spare time (according to my colleagues and my family too much), I am also a real Brabander, I like company! At home I have the company of my beagle Nala and Juultje the cat, a bit stubborn but as they say “pets look like their owners”.
“Nothing is impossible. Even the word itself says: I’m possible!”
I am Matthijs Heijstek and I am Junior Communication Advisor at St. Anna Advies since May 2018. I graduated from the Aeres Hogeschool in Dronten in 2017, in the field of Animal Health and Management. I won the Talent Award at the Dutch Pet Conference & Awards, with my research into the performance of the average veterinary clinic.
In the meantime I have found the most fun challenge in the animal sector at St. Anna Advies, where I can work to make the veterinary sector a little better every day. I have a lot of feeling for the veterinary world, because of my experience in three dimensions of veterinary practice management: on the work floor in a clinic, in the management team of a clinic, and from an external veterinary consultancy.
In my spare time I like to be with family and friends, but an evening of soccer or running always gives me relaxation.
